Tiger Airways rights

I received a mailer from Tiger Airways which informed me that I am allotted some provisional Tiger Airways rights based on the number of stocks I have in the company. The rights will allow me to subscribe for new Tiger Airways shares under the provisional allotment as well as shares beyond the provisional allotment subject to availability of the shares, at twenty cents per share. The right issue share price would have been great if Tiger Airways stock still trades at its previous higher prices but looking at the current trading prices, the right issue is not attractive; hence I sold off my rights on SGX before the price of the rights went south. While it is true that low oil prices boost well for transport stocks including aviation stocks, I noted that the market of low-cost carriers like Tiger Airways is a competitive one.
