Singapore Stocks Santa Claus rally or Great Singapore Sales?

Today, the STI headed up north by 1.57%, this is a very bullish sign from the Singapore stocks markets and many market watchers hailed this as the start of the Santa Rally for the Singapore bourses with the “Santa Claus” being none other than the US Federal Reserves which announced that it will be “patient” on its decision to increase interest rates. Personally, I believe this “Santa Claus rally” is really self-engineered by the Singapore stocks markets. When one investor believes in the “Santa Claus rally”, he will buy into the stocks and when thousands of investors think likewise, a “self-fulfilling” prophecy of this “Santa Claus rally” is what we see for the stocks markets today (22 Dec 2014).
