Like many financial bloggers, this is a collection of thoughts as I reflect on my own investment journey for 2014. I am not exactly new to stocks, having dabbled in them since my university days. But over the last few years, I've been so focused on rebuilding my capital after a major setback in life that I've not paid attention to stocks. My two kiddos also left me with little time for basically everything else. Somewhere in June this year, I was at a low point in my life where I contemplated switching jobs.
