Buy Singapore stocks reports: what you should know

I have been reading many analyst reports which trot out names of stocks recommended for buying for year 2015. There is a general consensus among analysts that stocks like banks and transports stocks will fare well. This is in line with general market trends of rising inflation and low oil prices; hence I believe the analysts are giving out general advice. I always think of analysts’ “buy reports” as general reference for these reports do not take into account one most important factor of investing and that is none other than you, the investor. For example, should an investor with 100% of his portfolio in Sembcorp Marine stocks bought many years ago still buy Ezion stock or Nam Cheong stock with the argument that they have “shallow waters” operations and hence less shaped by oil prices?
