The Siren Song of Stories – Narrative Fallacy in Play?

I am currently reading a book titled "The Little Book of Behavioral Investing".  The author is James Montier. This book talks about the behavioral biases that investors tend to commit.  Essentially, we are our own worst enemy.  Not the other trader.  Not the market. It is an enlightening read, packed with observations from scientific research and written in layman language that is easy on the mind.  I strongly encourage every investor to read it.  Beg, steal (not recommended) or borrow the book if you must. One of the chapters in the book is dedicated to the siren song of stories.  We are all suckers for good stories.  We absorb readily as CNBC tells us that the market fell due to poor consumer confidence.  We digest every word as The Motley Fool explains whether Warren Buffett ......
