Remisiers’ letters to DPM Tharman: my Singapore stocks thought and strategies

I have read the reported summary of the letter written by a group of remisiers and investors to DPM and Finance Minister Tharman about their thoughts on the Singapore Stocks Markets. The main take-aways of the letter, from my interpretation of the letter are that firstly the Singapore Stocks Markets are not really attractive to the retail investors which resulted in not much of trading participation from retail investors as the remisiers might have expected and that some of the remisiers may not be earning as much as before. I still remember having the thought that remisiers earn a lot and while I still do not know how much a remisier can earn, I would tend to agree, from my trading experience that the Singapore Stocks Markets are not really that attractive to trade.
