Being a small nation, Singapore does not have too many TV channels unlike countries like Taiwan; hence Singapore does not have a channel dedicated to investing and trading unlike Taiwan, Hong Kong or China. However, I still think the fact that we have quite a number of TV channels and in different language is still laudable. Though we may not have a dedicated investing and trading TV channel, I still find that there are enough programmes on television for Singapore’s investors and traders. Firstly, we have the Channel Newsasia which has Business Singapore on weekday nights and segments on businesses and monies throughout the day. And on the same channel on weekends; we have Moneymind on Saturday nights and a new programme called Investor Insights on Sunday nights (which personally, I think is geared towards the more sophisticated investors based on its content which I have watched).
