Should investors still buy these stocks?

I have been sharing with readers the need to factor in the different investing themes before deciding whether to buy into a new stock. These themes span from political, economical, social, technology, natural/geographical, etc. An example of such a theme is the belief that El-Nino will come and this has benefitted some plantation stocks. Another less prominent theme is one which I have heard of it being discussed at a number of AGMS of property developers and REITs and online and the theme is that of online shopping. For companies with retail spaces or are involved in retail tenancy, the question in investors’ minds is this: whether online shopping will have a “bearing” on the business revenues of these companies?
