Staying Put

Staying put may be the hardest thing to do in the world.

My master plan a.k.a. slow road to riches requires me to stay put and not do anything 99 per cent of the time.

Only when the opportunity is right will I need to implement my plan into action.

And the right opportunity is still some distance away.

Yet, the temptation to do something is always there.  When I watch stock market news, or read financial bloggers write about their latest portfolio rebalancing, I get envious, angry and sad.

Envious that some people have already found their financial freedom.  Angry that I had wasted so much money in my early years of working life.  Sad that I am nowhere near my end goal.

Thankfully, the new discipline that I have built into my life helps to keep my trigger-happy self in check.
