The other day, I happened to pass by Kiehl's at Plaza Singapura when I saw this quote on the wall: "Love what you do, put your heart into it and you will be rewarded." A simple quote.  Nothing fanciful.  I am sure there are many similar quotations out there, motivating us to infuse passion into our endeavours. What caught my eye is the last phrase,  "...and you will be rewarded". Dedicate yourself to your pursuit, put in the hard work, and only then will you be rewarded. Wise words indeed. In today's world, instant gratification has become the norm rather than the exception.  Type a word into Google and within seconds, you get your information.  Type a message into WhatsApp and within seconds, your recipient gets the text.  Life is about living in the instant, immediate, now.
