In a nutshell: Purchased 1,500 shares of OUE at $0.810 Cost: $1,218.02 (including commission). Entitled to 675 rights and allocated 1,025 excess at $0.555 Cost: $943.50 Total cost: $2,161.52 Average buy price: $0.675 Distribution yield for 2015 is 6.89% based on IPO price of 80 cents. Distribution yield based on my purchase price: 8.16% OUE Commerical REIT is currently priced at $0.675 which means I broke even excluding commissions. While there is no capital gain, a 8.16% yield fits perfectly into my investing for income. I will probably not revisit it for a while unless there is another major announcement or a sharp fall in price.
