The bomb blasts in Bangkok recently was a great tragedy. The bombers did only not want to cause mayhem, they actively wanted to kill people, as they targeted a very crowded site. The second bomb is actually very near my house. Since I go to Bangkok very often, it hits quite close to home. As I sometimes go to Erawan and I am at Sathorn Pier almost everyday when I am in Bangkok, it has been quite scary to me. I would definitely have heard the second blast from where I was staying. I wonder if there will be a third blast. I hope they do not target Chatuchak as that place is super crazy crowded and packed so the death toll and fire hazard is very high. My sympathies and thoughts are definitely with the victims, but unfortunately we are probably unable to do much sitting over here in ......
