What should Singapore stocks investors do next?

The Singapore Stocks Index (STI) ended 3.11% lower yesterday (4 Sep 2015) for the week. The bearish mood in the Singapore stocks markets is confirmed when the three US major stocks indices headed south by more than one percentage points each overnight (4 Sep 2015, midnight, Singapore time). The above will be the backdrop for Singapore investors as long as there is no clear signal from the Federal Reserves to increase its interest rate and if the Chinese economy is still not steady. Hence, should investors want to initiate new positions in the stocks a market, my advice is that this is perhaps not the time to do so. Stocks heading up, in the current markets conditions will do so in tandem with corporate announcements as well as the themes of the day.
