So, I have openly declared my glitzy lifestyle before the self-enlightenment, fueled by a salary that most people hit at 30, when I was 21, savvy parents, and a rich and spendy (then) boyfriend. It was then I cultivated my taste for quality and luxury.
Right now, I live a precarious balance between luxury and frugality. In my $1.9 milion condo (though I have a mortgage, of course) I cackle over how my tea costs $0.15 at home rather than $1 outside. I also have a whole row of designer bags, but all bought at a minimum of 40% off, and none the ‘classic’ ones.
I still do pine for luxury once in awhile. It’s kinda silly and right now I would not dream of dropping so much money onto a material item, but luxury is meant to inspire (and also inspire wants) so I will share some ......
