Here’s an article that I chanced across recently on Refinery29 that I thought was quite interesting and worth sharing. This, by all accounts, is actually a decent article. The writer seems to have gone through a transformative process much like my own, through motherhood, so I sympathize. She also sounds like she was living quite a carefree, low budget lifestyle, being able to support herself backpacking around the world, which is probably something we should commend. Once she realized her carefree lifestyle was going to change, she hunkered down and took serious action fast. Most of her tips are solid, although a little more for beginners rather than our hardcore ways. My favourite is: ‘Suddenly, I wasn’t hustling just for myself — I had my daughter to think about.
