What Netflix’s Daredevil can teach us about personal finance

I am a huge, huge Netflix’s Daredevil fan. I like Marvel stuff in general, although I’m far more predisposed to angsty, mysterious males than say, hunky Norse gods. I only watched it recently, and it is one of only two TV shows that I actually finished watching ever since I left school. I think the best way to encourage teenagers to pursue a career in law is to allow them to fall in love with Daredevil.

The show, on the surface, is about a superhero, sure, but the real conflict is about how Wilson Fisk (Kingpin), part of a privileged 1%, wants to gentrify the gritty neighbourhood of Hell’s Kitchen in Manhattan (apparently it has already been gentrified some 5-10 years ago and is very nice now.) And in the process, he kills a lot of people, gets rid of rent-controlled apartments where the poor and elderly live, etc, ...
