Buy to Use versus Buy to Have

Reading the book "Saved: How I quit worrying about money and became the richest guy in the world" by writer Ben Hewitt has left me in deep introspection lately. No, this is not a run-of-the-mill book that talks about how to get rich.  There are plenty in the market, but this is not one of them. Rather, it is the story of a guy named Erik Gillard whom the author has befriended, and how Erik is able to lead a fulfilling life that is not dictated by the number of zeros in his bank account.  Despite earning much lower than the average folks, Erik is in no way shortchanged when it comes to happiness and the richness of his relationships in the world.  In fact, Erik is a happier man than most of us with our creature comforts.
