The FTSE Straits Times Index (STI) is a capitalisation-weighted stock market index that is regarded as the benchmark index for the Singapore stock market. It tracks the performance of the top 30 companies listed on the Singapore Exchange. STI 52-week range : 2,528.44 – 3,549.85 How the fortunes have changed in matter of months. Just 10 months ago, Singapore Straits Times Index reached a height of 3,500 points. Fast forward to February 2016 this year and here we are, staring at 2,500 points after a downhill roller coaster ride. Perhaps you have had enough and is ready to throw in the towel?
