In Singapore, there is now an emphasis on lifelong learning. This is timely considering that industries today are not like industries before and there is constant reinvention of jobs as skills required for the workforce change in quality and quantity. While many people interpret investing in oneself as equipping oneself with new and additional skills, I must add to this definition that investing in oneself could also mean learning investing skills, learning how to be profitable and consistent as an investor, as a trader. For most often than not, in Singapore, which is the most expensive city in the world according to some reports, I believe many will want to become richer, not just to become wealthy but to really offset the high cost of living and have some little more extra savings.
