Howdy! I’m back from my Japan/Taiwan trip and it was super awesome. A little saddened by the news of the Japan quake though, which struck right after we flew to Taipei. Hope that the people of Japan will emerge from this disaster stronger, and better. There are so many reasons why I love travelling, but Anthony Bourdain phrases it beautifully below.
Travel changes you. As you move through this life and this world you change things slightly, you leave marks behind, however small. And in return, life — and travel — leaves marks on you. Most of the time, those marks — on your body or on your heart — are beautiful.
