This video by Ray Dalio (Founder of Bridgewater Associates) is a must-watch. It cuts through most of the noise to eloquently explain in simple terms the basics of the economic machine. Having taken some Economics courses as part of my Business degree, I would say that none comes close in giving such a succinct yet powerful explanation of the market. A worthwhile 30 minute investment for anyone.
