How to be a Financial Freedom snake oil
By Singapore Man of Leisure  •  June 22, 2016
This ultra spiritual guy does satires, pokes, and parodies so much better than me!
I give him my Stephen Chow's 2 thumbs up!
He is hilarious!

But behind the laughter, don't just watch and believe. Talk to "bei kambings" who have paid ridiculous sum of money to snake oils and you'll find a common thread:

It all started with "Free".

The same sales tactics is used by time-sharing companies, weight-loss spas, hair-loss centres; etc.

And if you observant,  by some "religious" organisations too.

People with holes in their hearts make the best "target".

  1. Fred says:

These snake oil gurus sell on noble and sentimental grounds of charity. They declare that they want many people to be rich like them so more people can contribute to charity.

Yes, you are right. First session is free but actually a front for them to advertise their expensive courses.

The story is all the same. They were born poor or from poor background. They became bankrupt. After they found a secret, they fired their bosses and invest in their secrets. Today they own hundreds of homes and work 30mins a week. Even that is from a sunny beach or on a 100-footer yacht with a pretty Hong Kong actress somewhere in the Mediterranean.

Today, they want to share their secret with you for only a few thousand dollars and they will guide you in a two-day course. They will teach you how to buy bungalows WITH NO MONEY down and even get tenants to put money in your pockets every month. Or how to invest in shares/options/forex and get returns of 30% ( and that’s conservative!). The hyperboles of these gurus are exospheric!

Yes, if need be, some religious organizations are also doing it. Some call it religions but business per se.
