National Day Rally used to be an event that Heartland Boy’s tutees dreaded. That is because when Heartland Boy was still a young and dashing part-time JC Economics tutor, he used to give “open-ended” assignments based on the National Day Rally. Most of the tutees found this assignment quite strange at first until Heartland Boy was able to demonstrate how the economic policies mentioned in the National Day Rally were directly related to their examinations, lives.
