Wow, Great SINGing. Just like AK! Work, Save and Invest.

True, just saving alone from salaries to fund retirement of 20 to 30 years would be almost impossible for most of us.

Start off, you need to pay off study loans, then saving for wedding and a roof. That mortgage can stifle one for 20 to 30 years! Then saving and scrimping for children’s education and with many detractors out there squeezing blood out of you for life, endowment and education insurance. Busy bringing up your family with the ever-increasing onslaught of inflation, while warding off the continuous pressures from in-laws of the Patricks having electric scooters, a new Audi, just return from a 2-week Italian holiday and upgrading to a condo…..

Read of a study a few years ago of 40% of young couples resorting to parental aid to purchase their first homes?

What about the uncertainty of retrenchment in the advent of technology disruption, digitizations, and robot-ism? Drive Uber and Grab? Car less and car lite are around the corner.

Haha …..the current economic climate is worrying enough not to mention the worry of the future of own retirement?

Yes, as our legs walk the ground, our eyes must look ahead into the future to anticipate problems.
