2016 Summary

5 more days to end of 2016. I have not been blogging much due to personal reasons. Decide to post a final short note before the year ends.
I have collected $3,974 for dividends this year, which supposedly exceeded my 2016 target of $2,400. However, a large portion is made up of special distribution from Saizen Reit - $2,112. Hence, the true dividend is only $1,862. Only hit 77.5% of target.
Looks like there's plenty to work on. I guess one of the reason is also because I have started keeping more cash since I am getting more selective with the income stocks I wish to add.
I did some pruning of my portfolio and became stricter with allocation:
Cash 44%
STI ETF/Nikko STI ETF 17%
Capitamall Trust 10%
OCBC 7%
SCI 6%
Vicom 4%
GLP 3%
Singtel 2% AA Reit 2%
Soilbuild Reit 2%
QAF 2%
