It’s Singapore’s 52nd birthday, and like every year before, we can expect nothing less of a grand celebration with plenty of family-friendly events.
If you’re one of the lucky ones to have gotten tickets for the National Day Parade, you’re in a visual spectacle and overload of patriotism. If you haven’t, there are still lots that you can do to bask in the glory of ‘Singaporeanism’.
What’s special about Singapore’s National Day 2017?
This year’s team is #OneNationTogether and there are quite a few ‘firsts’. Fans of aerial fly-past can look forward to a signature bomb burst manoeuvre at the NDP that will feature two NS men in addition to regulars of the Singapore Air Force. F-15SG fighter jets, which are amongst the most advanced, will be used.
