Dear readers, today is the first trading day of the Chinese Year of the Dog and I believe all eyes will be on Mr Heng Swee Kiat, Singapore’s Finance Minister as he delivers Singapore Budget 2018. This year’s Budget is especially noteworthy since it is likely, as what many expected that the Government will be announcing plans to increase taxes, especially GST since the last increase many years ago.
