Dear readers, yesterday while many of us were sleeping, US stocks tumbled by more than 2% per indices:
1) S&P 500: 2.52%
2) Dow Jones: 2.93%
3) Nasdaq: 2.43%</span></span></span>
The main reason for the tumble? The fears of potential trade wars as US President Donald Trump signed a directive with the intent to impose up to US$60billion worth of tariffs on China.
There were also two contributing factors:
1) Slump in technology stocks ever since Facebook price went south over the data privacy concerns
2) And I believe another reason is the market still consuming the news that the Federal Reserve has raised interest rates for the sixth time just two days ago
