Today I am in Hong Kong. It has been a while since I was last here in 2014. Coming back to HK after 4 years, I have very mixed feelings. The city seems little changed, but my feelings are now very different. These 4 years have been eventful for me. There have been many permanent changes. Career wise, I was on a one year sabbatical in 2014, taking a break from work. Now, I am not employed at all. A while ago, I discovered I had more siblings than I was aware of. Along the way, I also found and lost a great love. More recently, I applied but was unsuccessful in a job application. I attended the second round of interview and was confident that I will get an offer. So I was surprised at the rejection. Now, it seems that I will be unemployed for a while longer ......
