I just realized that it has been almost a month since I last wrote in here! I wanted to drop a quick note so that people know that StocksCafe is still in active development :) Apart from all the bug fixes and touch ups here and there, I have been spending most of my energy on upgrading the infrastructure of StocksCafe. Previously, everything about StocksCafe is basically packed into one server. As one server is easier to maintain, I tried to refrain from going beyond one by doubling the size of the server. Obviously, there is a limit to that. StocksCafe would sometimes crash or become extremely slow during peak hours due to the different processes fighting for resources (i.e. CPU and memory). As such, I spent the last week working on splitting components into different servers so that there will be less fighting. Now, there are four servers ......
