Hyflux has terminated the SOA and ended the agreement with SM Investments. The only lifeline for Hyflux has ceased. This is the final nail in coffin and I will be expecting PUB to take over TuasSpring desalination plant at the end of month at $0. Although PUB could be seen as helping Hyflux by removing the money losing asset, it would not be enough. What Hyflux need now is capital for daily operations. Without any rescue plan to inject capital, Hyflux faces imminent liquidation.
