I’ve been grappling with the problem of when to sell a stock for some time. A combination of laziness and incoherent thinking led me to a never ending chase for an answer. To give you a sense of the confusion, here are 3 examples with very different outcomes for me. Scenario A. I bought Visa in 2015 at $75 a share. Every 6 months, the stock reaches new heights.
