STI ended 3rd quarter of this year at around 3119 points. Markets had recovered in the early part of the month but usual concerns about Brexit, Hong Kong protests and US-China trade negotiations etc dragged the market down again towards the end of the month. Despite some volatility, STI still managed to close this month higher than the previous one.

For this month, I have attended the following AGMs/EGMs/briefing - CapitaLand Commercial Trust, Chip Eng Seng, UOB International Growth Fund and Lian Beng.

For my top 30 holdings, the major mover had been Isetan after the company had received a letter of intent to buy their stake in Wisma Atria. Other than that, not much changes seen in the position of other stocks in the list.

I have bought the following companies from the market this month - Amara, Bonvests, Bukit Sembawang Estates, Chuan Hup, GK Goh, Heeton, Hiap Hoe, Hong Leong Finance, Hongkong
