This thought has crept into our minds quite a few times in the last 2 months, no doubt due to the global pandemic right now. We are back in Singapore right now and it is quite possibly the worst time ever to look for a job. The job market is terribly slow right now and we are constantly hearing about hiring freezes and reading about the struggling economy. The unprecedented relief packages by the government is wonderful for the economy but definitely got us thinking “this must be really, really bad!” Let’s go back to 7 months ago when we quit our jobs. We did not have a sabbatical, we actually resigned to travel.
