What do I expect after 1st June 2012?

I’m pretty sure that Saizen will follow in the footsteps of AIMSAMPIREIT. There should be a share consolidation soon.

I’m prepared for a 5 for 1 or 10 for 1 share consolidation. I’m expecting a 5 for 1.

On Thursday, NOL re-test the resistance at $1.05 and closed at $1.03 with regular volume of 11.6 million shares traded.

During the past 10 bars, there have been 3 white candles and 5 black candles for a net of 2 black candles. During the past 50 bars, there have been 18 white candles and 26 black candles for a net of 8 black candles.

RSI & MACD are bearish though RSI in oversold region.

Important Resistance of NOL: $1.05

Immediate Support of NOL: $0.995

Currently prices are well below 20/50/100/200 days MA.

Since 11/April, NOL has been undergo heavy selling pressure and the selling has yet to eased as prices seems to lost its power to rally higher.

The support at $0.995 is expected to be strong.

Although we do not suggest buying such bearish stocks but we would expect prices to rebound …

This blog post is to answer a question which I have received from readers, friends and family alike. Is it a good time to buy more units of Saizen REIT?

This is a question which I would avoid giving a direct answer to. There is a great deal of subjectivity.

However, I would present some numbers here and you decide.

The annualised DPU is some 1.22c based on the last payout. At 13.6c a unit, the distribution yield is some 8.97%. Sounds good?

However, bearing in mind that its warrants will expire on the 1st of next month, I expect the warrants to be fully exercised within these few days. The exercise price is 9c. This would increase the units in issue by …

On Wednesday, Genting SP re-tests the support at $1.505 and closed at $1.505 with HIGH volume of 37.84 million shares traded.

A falling window occurred (where the bottom of the previous shadow is above the top of the current shadow). This usually implies a continuation of a bearish trend. There have been 3 falling windows in the last 50 candles–this makes the current falling window even more bearish.

Immediate Support of Genting: $1.505

Genting SP has clearly ended its uptrend when prices gap down below the rising trend line on 11/May. This is a bearish signal and triggered more selling pressure.

The resistance at $1.565 is expected to be strong.

We would not suggest buying Genting SP for …

In the broader market, gainers outnumbered losers 282 to 97. Today STI undergo heavy buying pressure as investors regained their confidences on the market.

MY sentiment on STI: STI has broken the critical resistance at 2791 and boost the confidences of the market. Months before Facebook listing, people started rubbing their hands to get a slice of the pie. Facebook Pre-IPO shares were trading at $40 at www.sharepost.com. There were even funds set up and marketed as “Facebook fund”, which is in my opinion, just another financial scam.

After all, who does not know Facebook? The story of a young entrepreneur worked his way out from a computer lab and became a billionaire before 30 years old is so sexy and real, the stock is just like a new Lamborghini car which you can touch and feel. If LinkedIn can double its share price on the first of trading, why shouldn’t Facebook?

Unfortunately, the dream never came true. During the second day of trading, the shares sank 11.3% to $33.90 …

This area is very much more expensive than outlying areas in Yorkshire where I live, as it is in the city centre and one does not require use of a car.

If one were to look about 5 miles (8km) out of town, the rent falls drastically to 43 GBP pppw (for a four bedroom house, two toilets with a …

I had an interesting discussion with people recently regarding the cost of living in the United Kingdom.
As some may know, I am currently a medical student in England, but I am not in London.

I want to dispel the oft-held notion that the United Kingdom is an expensive country to live in. In actual fact, it is not. I would daresay excluding London, it is cheaper (even before taking into account higher wages in UK) to live in than Singapore. (Doctors earn more in Singapore nett, but that’s an anomaly; most other professionals earn more here than in Singapore)

Over the next few posts, which will be as and when I have time, I will try to explain what my cost of living is. Readers can then draw their own conclusions. Of course, certain things are more expensive here, but I think overall, it is cheaper to stay in …

On Friday, Biosensors re-test the resistance at $1.20 and closed at $1.20 with LOW volume of 2.11 million shares traded.

A doji star occurred (where a doji gaps above or below the previous candle). This often signals a reversal with confirmation occurring on the next bar.

A long lower shadow occurred. This is typically a bullish signal (particularly when it occurs near a low price level, at a support level, or when the security is oversold).

RSI & MACD are bullish as MACD lines about to perform a “golden cross”.

Important Resistance of Biosensors: $1.20

Immediate Support of Biosensors: $1.11

Currently prices are well below the 20/50/100/200 MA.

For the past 8 trading sessions, prices have been trying to consolidate between the support of $1.11 and $1.20.

The support at $1.11 is expected to be strong.
