On 07/Mar, Singapore shares end higher Monday though rising oil prices continue to heighten fears on inflation and economic growth.

STI ended higher at 3066.52 (0.2%) with LOW VOL of 1.09 billion shares traded compared with 1.20 billion shares Friday. In the broader market, losers outnumbered gainers 255 to 180.  Today the market sentiment remains weak as BB merely push up the STI by buying some of key component of the Singapore index.

Clean Water Investment Ltd plan to make a voluntary conditional cash offer to acquire all shares of water treatment firm Sinomem Technology Ltd. (S14.SG).
