Time of the year to jump ship (soon)

It's the time of my career (and the year) once again and this time it didn't take as long as the previous one to decide. I like to go with reasons more often than the heart (although sometimes they coincide to the same conclusion). Here is my rationalization on WHY I should be tendering my current job. Why I work - To earn a living - To satisfy my passion for something I like to do - To sell / provide solutions to others - To achieve a cause that I believe in I resign because - The main motivator above doesn't hold true anymore - Of lack of recognition given for my work done - There are better choices out there - The big boss add fires instead of giving support in fire fighting - Sacrifice for the cause is too big or stressful to bear What I would ......

I began exploring the financial world in year 2010, hoping to get out of the rat race and be financially independent. 2010 was the aftermath period of the Lehman crisis when a pretty shaken up market was struggling to recover. On hindsight, that was the perfect time to catch multi-bagger stocks should I be a veteran or at least had some basic knowledge of picking up 'gems'. My learning curve was steep then, as I have absolutely no friends or relative who could shed some light on what's investing about.
