Singapore Savings Bonds in OCBC iBanking

Recently I noticed that there was a new option in OCBC iBanking. I was looking through the website and I saw this option: Seems like we can buy SGS from iBanking now! Clicking on it, we get: Looks like even the Singapore Government Securities (SGS) are there! For the ease for most people (no volatility) and considering SGSs are rather illiquid, I would discuss SSB for this post (I'll probably go for SSB myself). Looks like there's still a service charge of $2, but good thing is that there's no longer a need to go down to the ATM :) Redeeming the bonds Just key in the date of issue (say, 11/2016), Looks pretty simple isn't it? On a side note, since the purchase and redemption of SSB could be done on iBanking, why not add in Rights Issues as well? :D What do you guys think? ......
