Dear readers, it is time to be update of the STI constituent stocks for the week 21 Aug 2017 to 25 Aug 2017. As usual, we will be looking at the overbought and oversold stocks. Overbought STI stocks 1. CapitaMall Trust Oversold STI stocks 1. Singtel stock 2. ST Engineering For the STI as a whole, we could infer the performance from the STI ETF. It seems that the downside to the STI has been reduced with the 50 Days-Moving-Average acting as a support for now. The 5 Days-Moving-Average which has crossed below the 20 Days-Moving-Average is trending north again, let us see whether it can go above the 20 Days-Moving-Average once again and take STI higher. Currently, geo-political tensions still seem to shape global stocks markets; we will see how these factors play out next, together with possibility of interest rate hikes.
