Open Market for Electricity for Jurong region

Seems like the Government has opened up a "Open Electricity Market" for retail consumers in Jurong.

Seems quite interesting.

Interestingly, Starhub paired with a Solar power company (diversifying out of telco biz?) and M1 with Keppel (probably due to Keppel having a large stake in M1 I guess).

I looked some stuff about it and found this website.

Seems like it is kinda like a fixed vs floating rates (like a loan).

Talking to one of the promoters doing this, they told me that SP Power owns the Power Grid but Keppel is the one supplying the power.

Will be thinking which of these suppliers would be good choices, especially if it would be implemented Singapore wide.
