Free Insurance for Singaporean?

So how do you get free insurance in Singapore? Well kinda free.... I just maxed out my CPF Medisave account recently at $54500 and this money will be getting 4% per annum risk free interest… Yeah!! This mean I will be getting $2180 yearly from the government.... "FREE"…. Double yeah! The Medishield life insurance premium for my 2 kids and I totals to $1005 per annum. That means that after paying for the insurance premium, there is still have some left over to be transferred to my SA to continue earning interest. Triple yeah! So it pays to stay healthy and not use your Medisave money for as long as you can. Note that an admin fee will be charged when you pay medical bills with your Medisave.
