After the release of Q2 2019 results, my intuition just nudged me to sell off First REIT. Don’t get me wrong, the fundamental results are okay, but it is not really a well-performing REIT. Things just remained pretty much stagnant.
An 8% yield on this counter is one of the alluring factors that attracted many investors to get into this defensive healthcare REIT. However, I am seeking to reduce the risk profile of my portfolio and add in only solid high-quality assets. I have too many shitcoins in my crypto portfolio. But it is an ongoing process of rebalancing and refining. First REIT is one of the first to leave us.
