Warren Buffett is arguably one of the world’s best investors.
For the past 50-odd years, he has amassed a return of around 21% per year for the shareholders of his company, Berkshire Hathaway Inc.
That’s a phenomenal return considering the S&P 500, a stock market index that measures the performance of 500 large corporations listed in the United States, produced a return of only around 10%, including dividends. (Note: Berkshire Hathaway doesn’t pay any dividend.)
