What an inauspicious start to the Year of the Rat! Just when Xi Jinping and the Donald decide to gift us some market stability, Mother Nature chooses to teach us a lesson! I apologize for the long break from writing. I’ve been studying intensely to prepare myself for upcoming interviews for my job search. Investing was low on my priorities the last 2 weeks. However, I find it difficult to stay out of the fray when I heard that the situation regarding the Wuhan virus is getting out of hand. Is the virus serious? Believe what you want and speculate all you can, but I believe the Chinese government is assuming the worst case scenario.
