I was a student when both SARS and Global Recession happened. Having not experienced their significant impact to my daily life, this current pandemic feels quite overwhelming as I am already in the workforce and had made prior investments. It certainly feels like I am on an emotional roller-coaster due to the stock market’s gyrations.

I made my first investment in mid 2019 by purchasing VTI. Subsequently, I bought into IWDA, EIMI, Syfe Reits (blogged about it here) and Global portfolio. Seeing my portfolio plunged was extremely painful and I did think of cutting losses and use it to purchase big-cap stocks like Alphabet and Amazon. Thankfully, I stuck to my investment philosophy.
