What Warren Buffett Did To His Airline Stocks
By InvestingNote  •  April 21, 2020

The airlines industry have been hit hard globally.

Legendary investor Warren Buffett has also been reducing positions in airline stocks. So far, here’s what his company Berkshire Hathaway did this month alone:

1) On April 1 and 2, Berkshire sold about 13 million shares of Delta Air Lines, raising $314 million in cash and taking his stake in Delta down from more than 11% to about 9.24%.

2) Berkshire also sold shares of Southwest Airlines in that time period, with a smaller sale of 2.3 million shares raising about $74 million and leaving the insurance giant with a 9.92% stake in the Dallas-based airline.

Other than his great foresight, do you know anything else about the legend himself?
