“Everyone needs an Origin Story” is a series whereby we tell the stories of personal strength and the overcoming of financial adversity of everyday people. I firmly believe that behind each individual is a story of initial struggle, followed by actualisation and finally, action. To me, this is an inescapable, almost-universal story arc we all undertake in the quest for a better future. This arc connects us as individuals, and it is upon this arc that every community, large or small, is built.
