Where to Buy Cakes for Birthdays and Mother’s Day During Circuit Breaker

The extension of the Circuit Breaker and the inevitable tightening of the list of essential services have led to the closure of specialised stores and standalone outlets that only sell beverages, packaged snacks, confectionery or desserts — at least until 4 May.

Much to the dismay of Singaporeans who can’t live without bubble tea or bak kwa.

And while there are alternative ways to get your bubble tea fix now…

I’ll bet a lot of you are low-key panicking especially since Mother’s Day is just around the corner and you’ve always celebrated it with a really nice cake from a speciality cake shop or your mom’s favourite bakery.

(It’s on 10 May, by the way.)
