Budgeting 101

Do you get a panic attack every time you check your bank accounts? Have you always wondered where all your money goes to every month? These are just some common questions that you may start asking yourself, especially in the increasingly consumer-heavy society we live in. I have previously written a couple of posts on investing in various financial products, and even started writing a short review on my personal portfolio. That said, even before you decide to start investing, you need to first ask yourself – How much capital do I have to invest? And this is where BUDGETING comes into play. Budgeting is an extremely important first step towards adulthood. Whether you choose to start investing or not, having a budget and tracking where all your money goes is extremely crucial. Imagine overspending, only to realise that you don’t have the money when you need it for something more important or urgent. That feeling definitely sucks....
