Singapore Savings Bonds Issue July 2020 The latest Singapore Savings Bonds yields 0.3% for 1 year and 1.47% for the 10th year, giving us a 10 year average yield of 0.8%. The interest rates are paid every 6 months.

The interest rates of the newer issues have been creating new lows as you can see on the chart above. On top of this, I think we have seen many of our high interest bank accounts such as OCBC 360, UOB One, DBS Multiplier, CIMB Fastsaver all slashing interest rates. Application/Withdrawal period is from the 1st Business Day of the Month to the 4th last Business Day of the Month. You will receive the bonds/money on the 1st Business Day of the next month. The fee is $2 for application/withdrawal for any sum. This bond is a AAA bond backed by Singapore government (very safe).
